Car sketch day

Another boring meeting ended in a few sketches...thought I would add color and send to Ethan's 2nd grade teacher...going in Friday for another "Art Parent" day! Always a great change of pace and the kids are fun to draw with. Marker sketches ...dried out tip for texture...color via photoshop..check out paint spatter brush textures...fun.
any car guys ....don't laugh these were just some fun doodles...give me a break!:)

    At least a boring meeting turned out a masterful sketch. You even put a soldier at the back of the car. Now that's tight. Good choice of colors, John. Did you use the gradient effect on this one?

    Thanks Ellsworth, no gradient, just some textured brushes, opacity variations..... Thanks for the comments and interest.

      You're really good, John. I'm also impressed by your works of art. How long have you been sketching these awesome stuff, by the way? I wouldn't be surprised if I see your name one day on a magazine designing awesome cars. You know what? You should try applying as a car designer or a car sketcher. Make use of that incredible talent.

      Thanks for your comments, actually I work in the Auto industry. I Design Products for cars. I Don't know if I will ever get anything in a magazine, but thanks for the encouragement. I have been Lazy but hope to be posting more soon.... stay Tuned!
